His work can be seen in various places in and around Saint John. Some of the more
notable being the cobblestone work done on the Loyalist Burial Ground as well
as new stone construction and restoration on various historic buildings and residences
in Saint John. |

Ludwig Hartmann studied and did his apprenticeship in Stone Masonry in Germany over
25 years ago and continued perfecting his skill working with various companies
over a number of years. He started his own Stone Masonry business in New Brunswick,
Canada, after moving here with his family in 1992. |
Skilled in all types of stone restoration work, here Mr. Hartmann is restoring the
pinnacles of Saint John’s Stone Church and working on a sandstone sculpture for
a fountain. |
